Kewill Acquires Large U.S. Systems Integration Channel for an Initial Consideration of $45.5 Million - Pound 29.8 Million

Kewill Systems plc (www.kewill.com), a leading business-to-business e-commerce company specializing in Internet-based supply chain management solutions, announces that its subsidiary company, Kewill Electronic Commerce Inc., has acquired EVCOR (www.evcor.com), a systems integration organisation which provides consulting, implementation, and support services for Kewill E Commerce solutions throughout North America.

EVCOR has an extensive track record, having successfully installed and integrated in excess of 4,200 Kewill shipping management systems and its customers include Anheuser Busch, Gillette, Sony, Stanley Tools, cooking.com and Mitsubishi. The company's professional staff are already fully trained to deliver Kewill's next generation of Internet-based solutions, Kewill.Net, launched in the U.S. to excellent reception in April and in the U.K. at the Retail Solutions Show at the NEC in Birmingham this week.

Kewill.net provides users with global access to a unique suite of integrated applications that enable trading partners to transact, trace and control business processes over the Internet. Derived from Kewill's market leading supply chain community management and e-fulfilment product set, Kewill.Net solves many of the B2B challenges confronting buyers and sellers in today's global trading environment.

EVCOR is an affiliation of 18 system integration businesses with offices in major metropolitan areas in, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin. It employs over 160 persons, principally certified system integrators and developers. Over the past 10 years, EVCOR's principal business focus has been distributing, integrating, and supporting Kewill E Commerce multi-carrier shipping management systems, which enable users to make transportation rate comparisons, print label and manifest documentation and to link electronically with the major parcel carriers including FedEx, UPS and the United States Postal Service for billing and tracking.
