Ernst & Young and Oracle to Offer Easier Migration for Online Supply Chain Solutions

Ernst & Young LLP (www.ey.com) and Oracle Corporation (www.oracle.com) announced on April 26, at the Oracle Application Users Group Conference, an expansion of their joint service and software offering for rapid implementation of Oracle Internet Procurement.

The Oracle Internet Procurement System Bundle will facilitate quick installation of Oracle Internet Procurement on multiple hardware platforms, allowing Ernst & Young professionals to focus their efforts on working with clients to transform complex supply chain systems into more efficient, Web-based systems. The use of the System Bundle in Ernst & Young consulting engagements is another example of the two companies' long-standing relationship in providing value-based solutions across a wide range of services and industries.

The combination of Oracle's technology with Ernst & Young's management experience and process improvement methods will give their clients an advantage in building online trading exchanges and procurement systems. This will allow clients to position themselves for business-to-business transactions today and in the future. The joint solution allows clients to quickly achieve transaction-based savings and process improvements on a continuous basis.
