Dassault Systemes S.A and LMS International announced the signing of a definitive agreement whereby LMS selects Dassault Systemes' Version 5 Application Architecture as the framework for its next generation functional performance engineering solutions, integrating multidisciplinary virtual prototyping (CAE) and physical testing (CAT). These process centric solutions will be offered within the LMS products portfolio and delivered through the LMS sales channel.

Dassault Systemes' Version 5 Application Architecture is a scalable object-based middleware infrastructure offering both generic and domain specific frameworks including for multi-physics CAE applications.

By taking immediate advantage of this powerful architecture LMS will accelerate the development and increase the scope of its core technologies and solutions that speed up mission critical engineering processes, such as NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness), R&H; (ride & handling), and durability. Within this alliance, Dassault Systemes and LMS will exchange critical technologies and components to mutually enrich their respective solutions.

Dassault Systemes offers a scalable range of structural analysis solutions as part of CATIA. With LMS's complementary CAE-CAT portfolio, customers who have invested in CATIA, DENEB and ENOVIA will have access to an enriched set of applications to better cover their entire product life pipeline.
