Author bio: Henry H. Jordan is recognized internationally as one of the leading management consultants specializing in inventory management, production planning and control, purchasing and physical distribution. He is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and has been certified at the Fellow level (CFPIM) by APICS-The Educational Society for Resource Management. He is chairman of the Center for Inventory Management, Sugar Hill, Ga. Jordan has been a management consultant since 1969. Prior to that time he has had more than 20 years experience as vice president-manufacturing, manager of production and inventory control, and director of procurement in industry and government. He also served as director of quality assurance and field service engineering for a Fortune 100 company in the aerospace industry. Previously, he was a project manager for guidance and control systems for the nation's highest priority missile and space program. |
