The sixteenth triennial conference of the International Federation of Operational Research Societies, hosted by the United Kingdom Operational Research Society, will be a historic occasion. This is the first IFORS conference of the new millennium and a return by IFORS to the United Kingdom, the country that hosted the first IFORS conference and was the originator of OR as we know it. With the theme of "OR in a globalised, networked world economy," this conference will be at the cutting edge of research. It will not only discuss some of the problems of the new economy, but also use new technology — you will be able to submit a paper and register on the Web. PROGRAM

The conference is aimed at both academics and practitioners.

All attendees, including speakers and session chair, must register and pay the appropriate registration fee.
