The University of Wyoming invites applications for a tenure-track position in Management Science/Operations Management at the Assistant / Associate Professor level in the Department of Management and Marketing. The appointment will begin in August 2009. Applicants with any methodological focus (Optimization, Stochastic Modeling, Simulation, Decision Analysis, etc.) are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to applicants with research interests in Logistics/Supply Chain Management and/or Transportation.

The workload is two courses per semester (undergraduate and/or MBA) and solid published research in quality journals. Ability to teach advanced methodology courses (e.g., in optimization, simulation or stochastic models) is very desirable due to potential future course offerings in these areas. The minimum requirements for this position are prior industry and/or teaching experience and a Ph.D. in Management Science, Operations Management or related fields.
