Areas of interest include but are not limited to Operations Management, Financial Engineering, Marketing Science, Applied Probability and Econometrics, Mathematical Economics and Game Theory. We also welcome applications from candidates with a research interest in Behavioral Economics or Social Network Analysis.

We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague with a strong background in mathematical modeling, a vivid interest in the application of mathematical modeling to topical research challenges in management, and the desire to use real applications to challenge and shape the research agenda in the modeling field.

In addition to outstanding research potential, the successful applicant must have excellent writing and presentation skills and the desire to network across disciplinary boundaries and with practitioners. The Management Science group promotes the subject of business modeling enthusiastically to the teaching programmes in the school. The new colleague must be fully committed to first-rate teaching performance and will be encouraged to further expand the groupÕs suite of professional courses, complementary to their research interests.
