The Industrial Engineering program in the Ingram School of Engineering invites applications for a tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor position. Specializations in (1) Logistics,(2) Quality and Reliability Engineering, or (3) Information Systems (i.e. telecommunication networks, large-scale optimization, high performance computing, and data management) are preferred, but strong candidates in related areas are also encouraged to apply. Ph.D. in IE or a closely related engineering discipline is required, and multiple IE degrees are highly preferred.

The successful candidate will be expected to establish a program of funded research in IE, produce a high-quality publication record, and have a strong commitment to teaching and professional service. Desired qualifications include post-doctoral or industrial experience, professional certification, and prior teaching experience. Appointment at Associate rank requires an established research record and demonstrated teaching and service accomplishments.
