The Department of Engineering at St. Mary's University of San Antonio seeks applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Engineering Management. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in EM, IE or a closely related area. Candidates will be expected to teach graduate and undergraduate courses and to support the department's mission, including the generation of external funding. The Engineering Department offers BS degrees in IE, EM, EE/CE, SE, and E. Science; our MS degrees are in IE, Engr. Systems Management, EE/CE, and SE. The BSEE and BSIE degrees are ABET accredited. St. Mary's University was founded in 1852 as an independent Catholic university shaped by the rich tradition of the Society of Mary (Marianists). Located in San Antonio, Texas, the University has an enrollment of more than 4,000 students and maintains small class sizes, with a student-faculty ratio of 13-to-1. There are three undergraduate schools, a graduate school, and a school of law. It strives for a diverse academic community of faculty, staff, and students of varying religious and cultural backgrounds. Salaries are competitive. San Antonio has a very affordable cost-of-living.
