Scientific Programmer Modeler — Westlake Village, CA

As part of our elite programming team, you will contribute to the development of new mathematical models and software applications for decision support in the areas of incentive planning, marketing, and product positioning in the automobile industry and related fields. As a hands-on developer, you will actively participate in requirements gathering, early prototyping, and subsequent iterative development of production-grade systems. Dealing with large data sets, designing predictive models, process automation and advanced analytics are essential components of this job.

Requires a M.S. with 2+ years of industry experience or PhD in one of the following fields: Operations Research, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other technical field with strong emphasis on computer technology and mathematical modeling. Must have intermediate/advanced working knowledge of C++ or C# (preferably both). Knowledge of SQL and familiarity with relational database (MS-SQL, Oracle) is desired. Working knowledge of SAS, Matlab, or any similar package is a strong plus. Must have strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Senior Statistician — Westlake Village, CA

Will carry out complex data management and analysis for on-going projection-related projects. Will provide consultation on SAS and data analysis to statisticians and programmer analysts and check and maintain quality of client reports and data used for the analysis.

Requirements include a four year college degree or higher in statistics or related fields (such as mathematics, econometrics or physics). A Masters degree preferred. Also requires four or more years experience* in SAS programming. Solid background in processing large and complex databases (e.g., longitudinal data, scanner data). Familiar with various SAS steps, such as PROC SQL, PROC TRANSPOSE, MACRO, and data merging.

*A combination of an advanced degree and work experience will be considered in lieu of the minimum number of years of work experience.
