Company Description:

Unistat Ltd was established in 1984 in London, UK, to develop and market Unistat Statistical Package, which is one of the first of its kind to run on early microcomputers. An important event in the Compay's history was the release of UNISTAT for Windows in 1992, which is the first statistical package to be released for the Windows operating system in the World.

Product Description:

Unistat is a comprehensive statistical package that can also work as Excel add-in. It combines ease of use of Excel with a broad range of powerful data analysis and presentation quality scientific graphics procedures that have never been available to Excel users before. Statistics procedures include parametric and nonparametric tests, linear, nonlinear, logit, probit, logistic, multinomial, Poisson and Cox regressions, ANOVA, GLM, multivariate, time series, reliability, survival analyses and quality control.

UNISTAT features one of the best graphics subsystems that can be found in any statistical package. It supports full on-screen object editing of graphs. It is possible to mix different fonts and sub/superscripts in any text object. You can copy and paste formatted text between UNISTAT text objects and MS Word or other Windows applications. Graphs can be exported to Word, Excel or to web browser simply by clicking on their respective buttons on the toolbar. Graphs can be exported to other applications via the clipboard or as a file in the form of bitmap images or Windows metafiles.

Unistat's Analysis of Bioassays module (optional) is probably the most comprehensive implementation of the subject in any statistical package. Potency can be estimated employing parallel line, slope ratio and quantal response methods, complete with confidence intervals, validity tests and graphical representations. Effective Dose (ED50) and its confidence intervals can be determined using probit and logit models. The Analysis of Bioassays module is fully validated against many examples provided in Finney (1978) and Pharmacopoeia (1997-2006) and it is suitable for use in a regulated environment.
