Configuration software
CiMENU, by Computer Identics Corp., is a Windows-based configuration tool
designed to simplify the setup procedure for all models of Computer Indentics'
scanners and decoders. CiMENU can be utilized to setup scanners, perform
diagnostics, investigate the effects of parameter variations on applications
and demonstrate the scanners' capabilities. It downloads and uploads scanner
parameters and communicates with scanners serially through the Starnode
Network or through Ethernet with TCP/IP. In addition, it loads and saves
files for different setup configurations and can reset the scanner to default
configurations as well. Additionally, CiMENU will auto-detect connected
hardware, alerting users when software is set for the wrong device or when
the communications link is defective.
