APICS Expands with New Chapter in Mexico
APICS continues its expansion by recently chartering its latest chapter in Chihuahua, Mexico. The new chapter starts with more than 30 members, many of whom work for major global companies including United Technologies, Zenith, Ford Motor Co. and GTE at locations in Mexico and El Paso, Texas.
"Our new chapter in northern Mexico will play a critical role in providing cutting edge resource management training," said Charles K. Nelson, APICS Region 6 vice president. "With the industrial growth in this region, workers in this burgeoning area will need education and support, exactly what APICS provides."
