Micron signs Logistics Systems Engineering as SI

Micron Communications has signed Logistics Systems Engineering as an authorized systems integrator (ASI), authorizing the company to use the developing MicroStamp remote intelligent communications (RIC) family of products to develop integrated systems solutions for their customers. As a Micron Communications ASI, Logistics Systems Engineering, a systems integrator specializing in product transportation automation, intends to offer RIC systems solutions for end users by providing site-specific designs, customized software interface design and development, systems installation, and post-installation service.

Logistics Systems Engineering is a systems integrator consisting of three parts: a transportation management consulting company, a core technology company focused on real-time dynamic control product transportation management systems, and a series of vertical market subsidiaries.

The MicroStamp is a very small, high-performance, high-frequency (2.4 GHz), RIC unit based on the MicroStamp integrated circuit (IC). The MicroStamp IC wireless communications technology integrates a direct sequence spread spectrum microwave radio, a microcontroller, and a low power static random access memory (SRAM) into a single chip solution. The MicroStamp is currently in the test market phase.
