WorldToolKit
WorldToolKit Release 8 virtual reality development software includes a new Object/Property/Event Architecture which allows users to create new properties and directly associate them with WTK objects. The multi-user capabilities of Release 8 are fully integrated with Sense8's World2World product and together represent a client/server solution to multi-user simulation development.
WorldToolKit is a cross-platform application development system that includes visual simulation, VR and GUI function libraries, plus end-user productivity tools. Incorporating Sense8's OpenVR technology, WorldToolKit (available for Windows 95/ NT, IRIX, Solaris and Alpha-based systems) is optimized to take advantage of the capabilities of each platform. Release 8 also includes read/write support for VRML 2.0 geometry, textures and materials. A streaming-mode Flock of Birds driver is a specialized, high-performance driver which is designed for the Extended Range Transmitter FOB. This driver utilizes multi-threading and therefore allows the FOB to be run in streaming-mode.

Dragon NaturallySpeaking Software Development Kit (SDK) now includes ActiveX controls to simplify the addition of natural speech to applications. With Dragon NaturallySpeaking, users can simply talk naturally to their PC and their words are immediately transcribed on the screen and into their document.
ActiveX components in the Dragon NaturallySpeaking SDK Beta encapsulate Dragon NaturallySpeaking's continuous speech recognition, simplifying development of a variety of dictation, data entry, and command-and-control applications. They provide a simple, consistent and compatible programming interface to Dragon NaturallySpeaking Deluxe in all available languages (American English and British English are currently available).
ActiveX components access Dragon NaturallySpeaking through a simplified set of properties, methods, and events. Developers can control recognition, user interface, text-to-speech capability, and vocabulary while leveraging their existing code base, custom controls, and development tools. They can even create, modify and select recognition grammars dynamically for improved recognition performance.

ReSolver
ReSolver is a knowledge-based application development tool that combines a rule editor with a flexible visual decision tree interface. It features the Decision Maker inference engine, which allows the user to apply advanced problem-solving techniques to create Web or stand-alone applications that assist users with a decision-making process.
ReSolver supports six ways of handling confidence, from simple to power fuzzy logic for imprecise knowledge. Systems are tested for common errors by automatically and systematically testing all possible combinations of input. This procedure runs unattended and produces a report of possible problems.
