GrapHvite
GrapHvite is a graphical software tool that
enables the design and prototyping of task-driven speech
recognition systems. It allows the user to visually specify
and design the set of words and sentences that the target
system should recognize. It also helps the user design and
test speaker-independent continuous speech recognition
system for any language, and to implement a working
speech-to-text interface utilizing the resulting recognition
system.

Voice Pilot
Voice Pilot 3.0 for Windows 95 allows a user to
speak with their computer without using a keyboard or mouse.
The product includes complete Personal Information
Management (PIM) tools as well as a real-time foreign
language interpreter for use in Internet private chat mode.
Using the underlying technology of IBM's VoiceType engine,
Voice Pilot provides various modules, including: Calendar,

VoiceCommander Pro
VoiceCommander Pro software, an office suite
integrated with IBM's ViaVoice, combines continuous speech
dictation capabilities with voice command control
functionality. It provides users with hands-free and
mouse-free command of their PCs, and is fully compatible
with Microsoft Windows and Windows NT operating systems. It
enables the user to dictate at a natural, conversational
pace into Microsoft Word and Novell's WordPerfect.

DragonXTools and Dragon SpeechTool
DragonXTools 2.0 are 16- and 32-bit custom
controls that provide a programming interface to
DragonDictate for Windows 3.0. Developers can now add speech
functionality ranging from small vocabulary
command-and-control to 60,000-word discrete dictation into
their programs using Visual Basic, Visual C++ or other
development tools.
Dragon SpeechTool 1.1 builds speaker-independent
vocabularies in six languages (American English, British
English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish), allowing
developers worldwide to build custom vocabularies for their
speech-enabled applications. Dragon SpeechTool can also
create add-on vocabularies for DragonDictate for Windows, so
users can dictate specialized terms such as client names or
product codes without user training.

Kurzweil VoiceCommands
Kurzweil VoiceCommands is a continuous speech
command-and-control product that enables users to format and
edit Microsoft Word documents by voice rather than keyboard
and mouse. Users can issue a single voice command to
accomplish many functions that would require multiple mouse
clicks or keyboard strokes. It facilitates user access to

CTS ST
The CTS ST is a computer/voice headset designed
for both speech recognition (mic) and stereo sound from
multimedia computers (headphones). The binaural stereo
headset features high fidelity sound reproduction and has
separate volume controls for the left and right sound
channels. The microphone used in the CTS ST is a Gentex
electret noise-canceling unit that is specifically designed
to eliminate ambient noise and provide flat spectral voice
output.

SpeechWise
SpeechWise speech-enables Novell GroupWise using
IBM's ViaVoice natural speech recognition engine. GroupWise
users can now dictate directly into message windows, rather
than having to type text. The user's dictation is recorded
and can be played back for verification. The SpeechWise
software also includes navigation into other Windows 95
applications, allowing the user to use speech to activate
standard Windows commands in applications other than
GroupWise.

Nuance6
Nuance6 software for speech recognition and
natural language understanding includes a Resource Manager
that optimizes performance in multi-server environments and
a multi-threaded speech recognition server. Nuance6 also
includes new capabilities in its Developer's Toolkit to
allow rapid prototyping of speech solutions. The
DialogBuilder simplifies the design of the speech dialogs
between the end user and the Nuance speech recognition
system. Another new tool, SpokenSQL, generates ANSI SQL
queries from spoken user queries.
