Costimator 5.1 is a computer-aided cost estimating system that
simultaneously produces estimates and process plans for virtually any
part or assembly. Accurate machining times, labor standards,
manufacturing costs and other front-end data may be instantly
downloaded from Costimator to such systems for scheduling,
accounting, billing, etc. The latest version allows the user to
choose the elements of an estimate from libraries of machine,
material and labor data. Tool travel and part dimensions are
measured, either on-screen or on a part drawing. Distances are
automatically calculated and recorded into the estimate. Completed
estimates, process plans, routings and other reports may be printed
out or electronically transmitted to other departments. Costimator
runs on various Windows platforms and is compliant with Open Database
Connectivity (ODBC) standards, permitting implementation of a
client/server database and easy integration with a number of MRPII
and other manufacturing systems.

The TotalPlant Solution (TPS) System is an industrial automation
system designed to unify business and control information through a
manufacturing plant or mill. TPS allows users to combine process
control with scheduling systems, maintenance systems and customer
order systems, as well as the information systems of key suppliers.
It operates on Windows NT platforms and is able to take advantage of
Microsoft's open technologies, such as Object Linking and Embedding
(OLE), which enables users to directly tie displays to spreadsheets,
databases, word processors and other Windows NT compliant
applications. The Global User Station (GUS) module, which allows the
creation of 3-D images, simplifies the task of visualizing plant
operations. GUS includes the SafeView window manager, which enables
the design of displays for particular users or categories of users.
For instance, operator displays can be designed so that alarm screens
appear on the screen at the same place at all times and cannot be
covered by other windows. GUS is available in console models for
control room situations, and in desktop configurations for use in
offices.

Encore! Process Composer is a desktop application designed to assist
engineers in creating process plans, defining and visualizing
workflows, and controlling the plant and process model data necessary
for manufacturing systems such as MES, schedulers, equipment and cell
controllers, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Another
module, Encore! Specification Manager, supports the complex object
data management and control needed to provide engineering change
control to multiple manufacturing systems. Promis Encore! runs on

The Resonance Theory of Constraints (TOC) scheduling engine
exploits execution-oriented workbenches such as master planning,
production control and business analysis for mid-sized manufacturers
implementing client/server systems. The master planning workbench
lets Resonance develop TOC-based, finite capacity schedules directly
from the master planning level. It helps control future use of
capacity, matching capacity to products, markets and customer
priorities. The production control workbench facilitates release of
schedules generated by the Resonance engine and monitors shop floor
performance. It is able to use the data available from the shop floor
tracking to identify critical disruptions in the flow and keep track
of them.

FACTORYworks 2.0 is a distributed manufacturing execution system
(MES) workflow management software package. It includes the
FACTORYworks Intelligent Windows NT Client, a highly configurable
solution component that is fully Open Database Connectivity (ODBC)
compliant. The NT Client allows the user to execute workflow on the
factory floor through navigational tools that provide multiple views
into factory operations. Combining NT Client's ActiveX controls with

designed for custom/job-shop environments. The new release includes
an advanced capability called the Project Tracking System that
provides manufacturers with extensive cost analyses capabilities. It
provides detailed information on costs, including tracking of
