Adage 2.3 is an object-based, fully graphical enterprise resource
planning (ERP) solution designed for process and hybrid
manufacturing. It employs a business process-based approach that
focuses on configuring objects and business rules as process flows,
rather than traditional software menus, to support key business
processes across the supply chain. Adage 2.3 is comprised of five
major enterprise business processes: Manage the Enterprise, Design to
Deploy, Plan to Produce, Order to Cash, and Procure to Pay. Through
the Adage Extended Enterprise model, companies can define, integrate
and manage the often complex relationships they have with their
customers, vendors and other supply chain partners. It supports
enhanced outbound logistics capabilities, including warehouse
allocation, picking, staging, loading and shipping management. Adage
runs on UNIX platforms, and also takes advantage of the Microsoft
Backoffice environment.

The Strategic Application Modeler (SAM) is a software tool for
business process management for use with the Renaissance CS
enterprise-class solution for process manufacturing. SAM provides a
number of different graphical views of an organization. These views
help identify the who, what, when, where, why and how of a business.
Both automated and manual processes and procedures can be modeled and
documented. SAM links cost and time information to the model and
identifies the personnel responsible for the procedures and their job
descriptions. This information is stored in a central, object-based
database where changes to a specific process, procedure or job
description are automatically reflected throughout the model.
Organizations can then use the model for business process
reengineering, strategic planning, employee training and
certification, change management, disaster recovery planning and
process documentation, as well as systems implementation. Price:
$30,000.

G2 Diagnostic Assistant (GDA) 3.0 offers an integrated approach
for developing and deploying intelligent process management
applications. With GDA users can create intelligent systems that
reason about on-line processes, predict and control product quality,
analyze process behavior to diagnose problems, and offer operators
real-time decision support. GDA features a visual programming
environment for building intelligent process management and
diagnostic applications. With capabilities like fuzzy logic,
statistical trending, evidence combination, alarm filtering and
on-line advice, GDA provides a system for predicting and identifying
process problems and assisting engineers and operators in making
intelligent decisions in complex situations.

The OnTrack Pathfinder Program includes a full suite of standard
manufacturing execution system (MES) modules. The Program provides
for up to a five-user system, and includes all standard OnTrack MES
modules, a Fast Start suite of support services, bi-directional data
transfer with existing MRP/ERP systems, and an interface module to
either NC/CNC controls for distributed numerical control (DNC) or
programmable logic controllers for SCADA (supervisory control and
data acquisition). OnTrack MES, running on Windows NT or Windows 95,
integrates business, engineering and factory operations. It provides
capabilities to schedule, dispatch, track, monitor and control
information on the factory floor while allowing users to measure and
track real-time performance. OnTrack focuses on discrete, assembly
and hybrid batch process manufacturing industries.

The Just-In-Time Enterprise System (JIT) 5.0 is an enterprise
resource planning (ERP) system that includes more than 40 software
modules spanning the full range of business processes within contract
manufacturing and maintenance and repair operations (MRO), including
customer service, planning, engineering management, manufacturing
execution, material management, and financial accounting. An enhanced
MRO module allows users to more effectively forecast material
requirements. Within the new system, failure probability factors are
assigned to individual pieces or hatches of equipment by model type,
sub-assembly or procedure.

WebPlan is a client/server implementation with collaborative
planning capabilities, allowing planners to simulate plans based on
changes in supply and demand and other factors, publish and share the
results with other users, and ultimately collaborate with additional
plants or suppliers on development of the best operating plan for the
organization. The base module provides full-function material
requirements planning (MRP) simulation for what-is and what-if
processing.
Manufacturers who process plans through an MRPII system can implement
WebPlan and add simulation and analysis capabilities to their MRP,
master schedule and capacity plans. WebPlan also introduces the
concept of supply chain simulation to enhance the communication and
planning possibilities among a manufacturer's customers and
suppliers.

STX 1.1.3.0 for Windows is an electronic data interchange (EDI)
software suite that allows users to manage and exchange documents in
standard electronic formats. STSECURITY is a new module that enables
users to perform secure EDI over the Internet. It supports open
standards, allowing it to work with any other security product that
uses open Internet security standards. STSECURITY uses public key,
private key methodology allowing for encryption and authentication of
transactions. The Document Turnaround subsystem allows users to
respond to incoming EDI transactions automatically. Users can, for
example, set up the system to automatically respond to purchase
orders received via EDI with an appropriate invoice. This feature
helps eliminate errors and manual data entry.
